Cross Creek # 15

Cross Creek has a wonderful view of the river, a queen iron bed, antique armoire, private bath and Cable TV.  Sleeps 1 or 2 guests.

Named after Marjorie Kinnan Rawlings, a reknowned American author.  She signed the guestbook on Feb. 29, 1936, two years before she wrote “The Yearling.” Upon her return to her home in Cross Creek, FL she sent a sentimental poem to St. Marys describing how she strolled the streets around the Riverview Hotel and told of the “village by the water.”  She was very fond of St. Marys and the people she befriended here.
