Check-in: 2 p.m. Check-out: 11:00 a.m.    If guests arrives prior to 2 p.m., and the room is ready to check-in, we do not mind if guests checks in early.  It is our pleasure.

Children: Well behaved Children are welcome.  All others must be accompanied by parent or guardian.

NON SMOKING: Because of the age of the hotel, and to be courteous to others, The Riverview Hotel is a "non-smoking" building, as well as "non-vaping."  The smoke detectors in the rooms will go off if someone is smoking or vaping.  Trust me.  It has happened, even with vaping.  You may smoke in designated areas adjacent to the hotel.  

Pets: Dogs and Cats are allowed with a $25 pet fee.  We do not allow Rottweiler or Pit-bull breeds.  We do not allow extremely large dogs such as Great Danes.  Cats and Dogs must be crated when left alone.  Dogs must not be barking dogs that may interfere with other guests enjoyment.  We reserve the right to charge a guest for damages their pet may cause in addition to the $25 pet fee.

Payment: Acceptable payment options: AmEx, Visa/MC, Discover, Debit Cards,+

+Check, Cash - .Credit card authorization and verification must be received at time of check-in for reservation to be valid.  Balance due upon check-out.  If using a third party booking agency, a valid credit card is required in order to secure the reservation.   The full amount of the reservation will be charged to your card upon check in.  Any additional charges will be charged upon check-out.  

Cancellation policy: Normal cancellation, 24-hours, Groups (three or more rooms) 48-hours, event weekends, 72-hours; otherwise a payment of one night's lodging (per room) will apply.  If using a third party booking agency, please be advised that we do not have control of their cancellation policies.  

NO Refund Policy: If a guest fails to give us a cancellation notice, we reserve the right to charge their credit card for the amount of one night's stay.  We do this because if a guest fails to give us notice, we lose that revenue when we could have possible made that guest room available to rent to another guest on that same date of arrival.  It is the courteous thing to do, to simply give us a notice that you need to cancel.  

Privacy:  We respect and are committed to protecting your privacy.  We may collect personal and credit card information for the purposes of making a reservation on your behalf, or for communicating with you about the reservation only.  We will NOT sell, share, or collect your personaly identifiable information or credit card information to anyone, for any reason whatsoever.  

Security: Your payment and personal information is always safe with us.  Our Secure Sockets Layer (SSL Certificates) are updated annually.  Our software is the best software available for secure commerce transactions in the industry.  It encrypts all of your personal information, including credit card numbers, addresses, and names, and cannot be read over the internet.
