Rockefeller Room is a corner room with 4 windows and a lovely view of the waterfront, Queen bed, antique wardrobe and vanity.Sleeps 1 or 2 guests.
Named after John D. Rockefeller, Sr., an American industrialist known for revolutionizing the petroleum industry and defining the structure of modern philanthropy, and a frequent guest at the Riverview Hotel either while visiting his hunting lodge on Cumberland Island, or en route to his summer home in Ormond Beach, Fl where he died in 1919. He left the three sisters a hand written note in the hotel register giving them some financial advice, "to a friend, better to collect in advance," something the sisters rarely did.
