Roy Crane is a river view room with two double beds, a private bath, and Cable TV, accomodates up to four.
Named for Roy Crane, a nationally recognized cartoonist, creator of the comic strip Wash Tubbs, Captain Easy, and Buzz Sawyer. In 1935 he came to St. Marys on the "Toonerville Trolley". In 1935 he teamed Tubbs and Easy as globetrotting buddies, using the Riverview Hotel as part of the backdrop for many of the comic strip scenes. He wandered the streets gathering ideas, residing at the Riverview Hotel for lodging and meals during his stay.
